Energy Ball V200 easily survived storm with wind over 90 mph

A storm has struck the area around the Home Energy Americas sales offices in McKinney, Texas.

The wind data measured with the local wheater station were stored. The graphical sheet shows wind speed of more then 90 mph.

The Energy Ball V200 is protected with a so called Storm Guard. At wind speeds > 50 mph the protection gets active and slowly breaks the Energy Ball from turning.

On the picture taken the next day after the storm, the Energy Ball V200 is generating electricity again, buildings in the close surrounding are heavily damaged (have a look at the roof and the door).
